What to do if your insurance rejected your FC2 claim:
FC2 should be covered by your insurance with no copay or deductible, thanks to provisions within the Affordable Care Act.
However, some insurance providers only follow the ACA mandate when they are contacted by their members. Zeal has attempted to process your claim, but now we need your help.
By following the steps below, you can help get your claim approved and also help improve access for other patients:
- Call the Member Services phone number on the back of your insurance card
- Ask to speak with a representative about a prescription for the FC2 Female Condom that was recently denied at Zeal Specialty Pharmacy
- Inquire as to how this prescription CAN be approved, since it is eligible under the Affordable Care Act’s Contraceptive Coverage Requirement
